they are walking around in the desert.
one day, A and B had a tiff and A slapped B.
B's very angry and he wrote on the sand outside the tent'my good friend slapped me today'.
and they continue walking.
they came to this lake and decided to take a bath.
A nearly got drowned, luckily B saved him.
A picked up a stick and carved on a stone nearby'my good friend save me today'.
B got curious and ask why A wants to do this?
A said:' i write bad memories on things like sand,so it'll be forgotten easily. and things on stone, which will be remembered for forever.'

good friends only remember good memories they had.
